Surrey Dentist Dr Patrick Firoozford MDSc Copenhagen University 1998

The Principal is Dr Patrick Firoozford MDSc. Patrick graduated from Copenhagen University with a Master of Dental Sciences in 1998. In 2001 Patrick completed the certificate in intensive surgical and prosthetic dental implant system in Copenhagen, and from 2006-2007 attended the Certificate course in Endodontics at UCL Eastman Dental Institute. Patrick has worked in private practices in Denmark and Norway moving to London in 2001 and working in his own general practice both there and after 2004 in Camberley. In 2006 he sold the London practice.

Patrick is particularly interested in Preventive, Paediatric and Endodontic dentistry and Oral Surgery/Implants. He regularly attends courses to keep abreast of current thinking in all aspects of modern dentistry. Patrick's relaxed and informal approach immediately puts nervous patients at their ease. Patrick is a member of Danish Dental Association, American Dental Association and British Dental Association.

After selling his London practice, Patrick is enjoying living and working in the local community. Patrick is married to Christine and has two lovely children. Patrick enjoys spending time with his family, going to the cinema, getting to grips with modern technology and hopes to improve his golf handicap on the excellent courses in and around Camberley.

Dentist Charlotte Rademeyer BChD(Stell,SA) MSc(London)

Charlotte Rademeyer qualified in 1988 with a BChD degree from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. From 1988-1994 she worked as an associate in her father's practice in Cape Town. In 1996 she completed a two year MSc degree in Paediatric Dentistry at Guy's Hospital, London.

After completing this postgraduate training, she worked as a part time lecturer at both Guy's Dental Hospital and the Eastman Dental Hospital. She also worked as an associate in two practices, one in Holland Park and one in Bracknell. After the birth of her first daughter she continued to work as a part time associate in Bracknell. Charlotte joined the Camberley Dental Practice in June 2008 after the birth of her second daughter. She concentrates on paediatric and preventive dentistry, as well as minimal intervention, quality restorative and cosmetic treatment. She also provides treatment under nitrous oxide sedation for dental phobic patients.

In her free time Charlotte enjoys literature, music, film and art. She also enjoys walking, swimming and spending time with her family.

Dr. Konstantinos Loukas DMD MSc Bristol

Implant Surgeon

Dr Konstantinos Loukas qualified as a dentist in 2000 and then embarked upon a two-year residency at the Dental School of Athens as a clinical instructor supervising students in the prosthetic department. At the same time, he served in an Airforce hospital in Athens performing general and prosthetic dentistry. Between 2008 and 2012 he completed a postgraduate training course in Bristol and Bath leading to a MSc in Dental Implantology, with the area of his research surrounding implant complications. In 2017, he completed an implant residency at the University of Berne working with Professor Daniel Buser and Professor Thomas von Arx and will continue his studies this year by progressing to undertake a PhD.

Having placed and restored over 1000 Straumann implants using the whole range, with a practically perfect integration success rate, his target is to build large bone volumes around his implants and to make sure that implants will last. He has an extensive experience with complex cases and sees and treats a high volume of implant complications on a regular basis. He is an official Straumann UK mentor for south west and channel islands, where he trains and mentors other dentists about dental implants. You can find information on: www.straumannmentoring.co.uk

Leoni Papageorgopoulou DDS MClinDent (Endodontology)

Leoni graduated from the Dental School of Athens, Greece in 2008. Since that time, Leoni has gained valuable experience in advanced dentistry, collaborating in 5 different dental practices in Greece. In 2010, she enrolled the MClinDent in Endodontology Masters programme at UCL, Eastman Dental Institute, which she completed in 2013. As part of her postgraduate training she conducted a research project in microbiology and disinfection of the root canal system, in relation to its complex anatomy.

She is currently completing her Specialist Training for the Membership in Endodontics (MEndo). Leoni has always been dedicated in making root canal treatment a pleasant experience, via her gentle manner and her knowledge of safe strategies to save teeth.

Dental Hygienists

Wendy Green EDH.EDT Dip Dent Hygiene + Dip Dent Therapy St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospital 2002

Wendy qualified as a dental hygienist and dental therapist at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospital in 2002, Wendy has experience in Private dental practices, children's clinics and in specialist dental practices.

Wendy joined Camberley Dental Practice in 2005 and is much liked by patients.

When not at work Wendy has many and varied interests which include travel, scuba diving, skiing and mountain biking and her much loved 1973 Mini which is regularly seen at motor shows around the country.

Lisa Caris EDH.EDT Dip Dent Therapy at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospital 2009

Lisa qualified as a dental hygienist and dental therapist at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospital in 2009. Since qualifying she has worked in both Private and NHS dental practices.

Lisa joined Camberley Dental Practice in January 2014. In her spare time she enjoys music and listening to live local bands whenever she can find the time. She also enjoys walking and running, but most importantly, spending time with her children.

Joanna started working with us as a Trainee Dental Nurse in October 2012, qualified as a Dental Nurse in March 2014 and in March 2016 acquired her Certificate in Dental Implant Nursing, a very practical qualification which is supported by a rigorous Record of Competence. It was the first ever pilot course run in the UK, accredited by NEBDN.

Joanna has a calm and gentle spirit and is excited by new challenges and opportunities. She was born in Poland and has lived permanently in the UK since November 2003. Joanna likes touring and off-road motorcycling, snowboarding and photography.

Administrative Team

The front desk and daily running of the practice is left in the very capable hands of Sarah Williams, Antoinette Pettit and Jo Wickham, who between them have worked in dentistry for over 40 years. Sarah, Antoinette and Jo strive to deliver the highest level of care and personal service to each and every patient.
