Dr Ali Dargahi MDSc Copenhagen University 1998

Dr Ali Dargahi is the Principal Dentist at Camberley dental practice. He qualified in 1998 with a master degree from Royal University of Copenhagen in Denmark. He also achieved a post graduate degree in surgical Dentistry in Switzerland. Ali has also completed the Implant Diploma programme at Royal College of Surgeons in London. His main interests are Cosmetic Dentistry, Dental Implants, full mouth rehabilitation, and adult short term Orthodontics.

Dentist Charlotte Rademeyer BChD(Stell,SA) MSc(London)

Charlotte Rademeyer qualified in 1988 with a BChD degree from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. From 1988-1994 she worked as an associate in her father's practice in Cape Town. In 1996 she completed a two year MSc degree in Paediatric Dentistry at Guy's Hospital, London.

After completing this postgraduate training, she worked as a part time lecturer at both Guy's Dental Hospital and the Eastman Dental Hospital. She also worked as an associate in two practices, one in Holland Park and one in Bracknell. After the birth of her first daughter she continued to work as a part time associate in Bracknell. Charlotte joined the Camberley Dental Practice in June 2008 after the birth of her second daughter. She concentrates on paediatric and preventive dentistry, as well as minimal intervention, quality restorative and cosmetic treatment. She also provides treatment under nitrous oxide sedation for dental phobic patients.

In her free time Charlotte enjoys literature, music, film and art. She also enjoys walking, swimming and spending time with her family.

Dr. Ruben Garcia, BDS(Hons), MFGDP(UK), MClinDent Periodontology/Implantology(UCL), Cert Perio (EFP), MRDRCS (Eng).

Dr Ruben Garcia is an internationally recognised Specialist in Periodontics. He is mono-speciality  consultant , clinical supervisor and honorary senior clinical lecturer in Periodontics at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital. He is currently focusing his research on the latest surgical techniques to maximise aesthetics in dental implants as part of his PhD.

He qualified as a dentist at the University of Madrid and then gained an MClinDent in Periodontology at the renowned Eastman Dental Institute (UCL) as well as an international accreditation from the European Federation of Periodontology. Since then, he has worked in private practice and hospital settings as well as focusing on research as part of his PhD. Dr Garcia has wide experience in periodontal treatment, including non-surgical and surgical treatment of periodontal diseases including conventional and regenerative periodontal surgery, periodontal plastic/aesthetic surgery and alveolar bone augmentation procedures. In addition, he has wide experience in the placement of dental implants, including complex cases that require bone augmentation procedures and/or sinus lift.

Charlie Barnfield - Specialist in Endodontics, BDS (London), BSc, PGCert, MJDF RCSEng, MClinDent Endodontology (UCL Eastman), MEndo RCSEng, MEndo RCSEd

Charlie graduated with a Bachelors of Dental Surgery from King’s College London in 2013. He then gained the MJDF (Membership in the Joint Dental Faculty) qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2015 (a prerequisite to enter specialist training).

Further interest developed in restorative dentistry, and he subsequently completed a one year postgraduate certificate in Endodontics in 2016. Later that year, he was awarded a place on the highly competitive MClinDent four year specialty training programme (leading to be a specialist in Endodontics) from the world renowned Eastman Dental Hospital.
Charlie has now limited his practice to Endodontics, accepting internal and external referrals for complex root canal treatment procedures and endodontic surgeries, as well as diagnosis of dental pain, trauma management and internal bleaching.

Charlie has passed the Membership in Endodontics examinations from the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of both England and Edinburgh. This is the highest possible qualification in the field of Endodontology. He has also been appointed an Honorary Clinical Teacher in Endodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute, to teach and mentor postgraduate dentists on the two year taught Diploma programme.

Charlie has a calm manner and takes time to fully discuss all the options, including the proposed treatment, so his patients can be at complete ease during the treatment process. He prides himself on providing precise technical work to ensure the best level of care to his patients. In his spare time he likes to play golf, experiment with cooking and enjoys going to the latest theatre shows and museum exhibitions.

Dental Hygienists

Lisa Davies EDH.EDT Dip Dent Therapy at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospital 2009

Lisa qualified as a dental hygienist and dental therapist at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospital in 2009. Since qualifying she has worked in both Private and NHS dental practices.

Lisa joined Camberley Dental Practice in January 2014. In her spare time she enjoys music and listening to live local bands whenever she can find the time. She also enjoys walking and running, but most importantly, spending time with her children.

Nicola Buckingham CEB Dip Dent Hygiene 1997

Nikki qualified as a dental nurse and worked in that capacity for five years before leaving to train as a Dental Hygienist at the Aldershot Dental Defence Training Establishment.

Nikki qualified as a hygienist in 1997, working in local practices before joining Camberley Dental Practice in 2019.

Nikki is particularly interested in educating her patients in effective oral healthcare in order that they can maintain a healthy mouth and prevent unnecessary tooth loss.? She attends many courses designed to keep her up to date with all current knowledge and procedures.

In her spare time Nikki is the chairperson for Rushmoor Royals swimming club, she enjoys synchronised swimming and spending time with her family.

Julie Shipley CEB Dip Dent Hygiene 1994

I trained in the Royal Air Force, initially as a dental nurse before being selected for Dental Hygiene Training.

My focus is on making patients feel as comfortable as possible, providing thorough yet gentle treatment.

I enjoy spending time with family, short city breaks, practicing yoga and taking the dog for a walk.

Joanna started working with us as a Trainee Dental Nurse in October 2012, qualified as a Dental Nurse in March 2014 and in March 2016 acquired her Certificate in Dental Implant Nursing, a very practical qualification which is supported by a rigorous Record of Competence. It was the first ever pilot course run in the UK, accredited by NEBDN.

Joanna has a calm and gentle spirit and is excited by new challenges and opportunities. She was born in Poland and has lived permanently in the UK since November 2003. Joanna likes touring and off-road motorcycling, snowboarding and photography.

Administrative Team

The front desk and daily running of the practice is left in the very capable hands of Sarah Williams, Antoinette Pettit Jo Wickham and Kim Price who between them have worked in dentistry for over 40 years. Sarah, Antoinette and Jo strive to deliver the highest level of care and personal service to each and every patient.
